18 Karat Yellow Gold Plum Flowers Earrings by the Artist with Diamonds
This is a piece from the contemporary jewellery collection, which was featured in Vogue UA review, and designed by the oil painter from Berlin Polya Medvedeva.
The earrings are made of 18 karat yellow gold, and encrusted with 6 round diamonds (0.18 Carat), and cabochon green grown quartzes (or natural chalcedonies), which can be taken on or off. That makes the earrings a many-in-one, as you can replace the cabochon drops for some other gems, or wear the earrings in every-day version without the drops.
The sculptural design provides an extra shiny surface of the flowers and a subtle play of shadow and light. The diamonds add delicate blinks to the earrings, and the cabochon drops are open for the light.
The green quartz drops can be replaced for the other gems: tanzanite, lemon quartz, garnet, rose quartz, which you can order separately in the future. The piece can be ordered as a clip-on earrings.
The plum flowers symbolise the energy of life, the trees are blossoming in winter in the middle of February.
