This silver contemporary jewellery brooch is the part of bamboo triptych originally designed as three brooches to wear them all together in the Chinese character style. Can be ordered in silver or gold. The piece was featured in Vogue UA and Elle UA reviews and editorials.
In 2010 ink calligraphist and oil painter Polya Medvedeva was working on her first jewellery collection, searching for new graceful and graphically interesting ideas. She used the idea of multiple brooches, which can be pinned in different ways together, and most of her later brooches she designed the same way. You can wear them all together at once, and add the new pieces of the other bamboos, junipers or sakura in silver or gold each year. The different collection brooches all fit to each others, as they all are using the ink calligraphy principle 'line and spot', which is pleasant for the human eyes and refers to the balance between 'chaos and order'.
